Acidic upland bog where almost no other plant tolerates the conditions. The wax esters of Connemara heather are unusually stable — one of the quietest and most effective barrier-reinforcing extracts in cosmetic chemistry.

Hand-harvested at low tide, in a narrow seasonal window. Concentrates marine lipids and polysaccharides rarely found in warmer-water equivalents. The cold is the point.

UNMADE is an Irish luxury skincare ritual in development in Dublin. The brand is built around two formulas — DAY, a protective morning formula, and NIGHT, a restorative evening formula — designed to restore the skin's own lipid architecture using ingredients drawn from three Irish landscapes: Connemara, the Kerry coastline, and Ireland's grass-fed pasturelands.

Who is UNMADE for?

UNMADE is designed for people with reactive, dehydrated, or over-treated skin who are looking for an intelligent, minimal skincare ritual. It is also designed for people drawn to premium brands that lead with provenance, design, and restraint, rather than with active-ingredient escalation.

Is UNMADE vegan?

No. Our lipid system includes biomimetic lipids derived from grass-fed Irish pasture. We are transparent about this on every product and ingredient page. If a fully plant-derived formulation is important to you, UNMADE is not the brand for you.

Where is UNMADE made?

UNMADE is designed and formulated in Dublin, Ireland, with ingredients sourced from three specific Irish landscapes: Connemara (heather), the Kerry coastline (Atlantic seaweed), and Ireland's grass-fed pasturelands.

How will you verify formulation safety and efficacy?

Every formula will be subject to a full Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR) from a Qualified Safety Assessor, registered with the European Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP), and manufactured under GMP (EN ISO 22716:2007) compliance. We are also in conversation with Irish university departments to establish independent barrier-repair validation.
